Qualifications

5+ years of experience

Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required

Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals

Project set up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting experience is a must

Good understanding of critical path scheduling

Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities

Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency

Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment

Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding

Responsibilities

Responsibilities range from project set up, project buy out, contract execution and compliance, material and equipment procurement, daily progress tracking, Project safety compliance, material and equipment invoice approval, manpower timesheet approval, responsible for project sequencing and scheduling, maintaining and updating schedules, coordination and communication with GC, extra work and change order distribution/tracking, coordination with Operation managers to secure adequate manpower, weekly cost report job forecasting, overall project fiscal responsibility

Contract/Scope review and execution

Job cost spread and estimate review

Project quantity/progress tracking

Invoice coding and approval

Change order request issuance/tracking

Develop basic change order estimate pricing

Coordination with GC/Owner

Coordination with CSI Operations manager regarding manpower/resources

Mentoring Project Engineers
