Project Manager-Business Capability

Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring a Project Manager-Business Capability on a long-term contract basis.

• Senior Project Manager - Multiple parallel projects.
• Experience managing projects via Waterfall, Agile & Hybrid Methodologies.
• Oversee planning and execution for multiple IT projects within the CTD business unit across multiple sites.
• Manages the project through following phases: Functional Design, Technical Design, Factory Acceptance, Implementation and drives quality and adherence to programming standards.
• Develop project estimates, plans and approaches to manage end-to end project execution.
• Assist customer management in complex tasks such as system architecture and/or business process design/redesign.
• Develop and maintain overall project plan with cross-team dependencies.
• Ensure seamless integration into existing processes and systems.
• Oversee IT development and execution of tests.
• Plan and schedule training activities for project-teams and end users.
• Identify dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to appropriate levels of management and stakeholders across assigned projects.
• Ensure project(s) deliverables, schedules, and financials adhere to established norms and are managed in alignment with departmental best practices across their assigned programs and projects.
• Periodically evaluate performance and develop action plans to ensure achievement of performance goals.
• Monitor and control schedule and financial health of their assigned programs and projects and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
• Proactively remove obstacles to drive assigned projects momentum and progress.
• Engage and energize the project teams.
• Identify, plan, recruit & on-board new contractors to support key project deliverables.
• Ensure timely delivery of the IT deliverables on-time to support business.
