Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager in Transportation Engineering to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various highway projects, transportation planning, and intersection design. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field and must be licensed as a Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple transportation projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions to complex transportation problems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including PennDOT requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Participate in business development activities and prepare proposals for new projects.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on roadway design, transportation planning, and intersection design.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of PennDOT regulations and standards is a plus.
