Description We are seeking a Purchase Order Specialist who will manage all aspects of the PO process for our facilities across the United States. You will handle annual budget spending of $30 million across five buildings, involving various service lines. In the previous year, over 2000 POs were processed by this role.Requirements Main Responsibilities:

Developing compliant Purchase Orders (POs): Ensure agreement pricing, budget allocation, GL coding, and PO line descriptions adhere to company standards.

Reviewing existing POs: Confirm orders are initiated prior to delivery of goods/services, completion dates are accurate, and facility managers are alerted promptly for receipt issues.

Escalating non-invoiced yet receipted POs to the concerned vendor.

Guiding team members on PO compliance and the final closure requests for fully billed POs with remaining balances.

Monitoring vendor invoice submissions, clearing referral queues, and responding to vendor queries related to invoice payments, missing POs, and billing instructions.

Assisting the Finance Team with required documentation for expense accruals during month-end closure.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience

An associate degree in Business

Required Technical Skills:

Proficient in managing large data sets through Excel, with intermediate Pivot Table skills

Experience with Microsoft Query, Power Automate, Power App, PowerBI is a plus

A strong interest in leveraging technology for efficient workload management

Additional Required Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail

Quick learner, comfortable with business processes and software use

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced matrix organization

Preferred Skills:

Prior direct experience in using Microsoft Query, Power Automate, PowerApp, PowerBI is advantageous.
