Quality Assurance Tester

Description We are in search of a Quality Assurance Tester for our Non-Profit organization located in Princeton, New Jersey. As a Quality Assurance Tester, your role will involve the design and execution of test cases, writing and automating test scripts, reporting test results, and providing QA support. This role offers a long-term contract to hire employment opportunity.Objective: To oversee and manage all technical projects and operational efforts. Will set technical project priorities to ensure projects meet objectives, stay within budget and meet all deadlines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5-6 Years of experience in Quality Assurance - Functional testing- Hands on Manual Testing and Automation Testing experience in application testing. Must be able to write SQL queries. Must be able to prepare test data. Excellent communication and people skills. This individual should not pose a threat to the health or safety of self or others. Essential Job Functions:

Create test design: Design test cases that will cover a wide range of scenarios

Writing test scripts: Automating both functional and user interface testing

Reporting results: Creating test reports for quality testing.

QA Support: troubleshooting functional and nonfunctional defects

Requirements

Equipment Used to Perform Essential Functions: telephone, computer, calculator, printer, automobile. QA Software Experience: this person should have strong experience with Automation Testing Tools (Selenium, HP QTP or other open-source test frameworks).
