SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Quality Inspection team. The Quality Inspector plays an important role by ensuring that the circuit cards, electronic components, and electro-mechanical components are manufactured correctly and function properly. The work of the Quality Inspector helps to reduce failures and delays as we build displays, onboard computing, and communication solutions that make flying safer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect circuit cards, electronic, and electro-mechanical components, per drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
Prepare and upload results of test and inspection.
Utilize ERP system.
Maintain organized work area.
Perform other various types of inspection as required.
Required Skills
Capable of performing in-process inspection operations utilizing a microscope for the majority of the workday.
Experience in cleanroom, ESD, and FOD controlled areas.
Must have basic understanding of how to read/interpret blueprints.
Summarize, file, and maintain records and parts traceability.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have IPC certification
3+ years’ experience inspecting electronic parts, assemblies, and circuit boards.
High school or equivalent, plus approved specialized and/or trades training desirable.
Must be detail orientated and have strong organizational skills.
Must be able to understand written work instructions and drawings.
Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
Capable of performing in-process inspection operations utilizing a microscope for the majority of the workday.
Excellent vision, ability to lift up to 35 pounds and sit/stand for extended periods of time.
