Description We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team based in Camden, New Jersey. This role is crucial in providing administrative support and maintaining a smooth workflow within our non-profit organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer interactions, maintaining records, and ensuring the office operates efficiently and effectively. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Act as the initial point of contact for all visitors, providing assistance, and directing them to the relevant department or personnel. Maintain a clean and organized reception area to present a positive image of the organization. Keep detailed records of visitors, including their visit purpose, arrival, and departure times. Schedule appointments for management and staff as required. Handle and sort incoming mail, as well as prepare and send outgoing mail. Update and maintain the organization's database to ensure accurate record keeping. Provide general administrative support to staff members such as typing documents, making copies, and faxing documents. Monitor office supplies inventory and notify management when supplies are low. Assist in planning and executing organizational events, meetings, and workshops, including venue preparation, sending invitations, and managing RSVPs. Handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion and ensure it is shared only with authorized individuals. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills in handling various individuals who call or visit the organization, resolving their concerns satisfactorily.
