Masters of Science in Nursing required. DNP or PhD preferred or in process

Current New Jersey RN Licensure

BLS required. (American Heart Association)

Scheduling Requirements:

Full Time 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

The Regional Admin Director is responsible for Education, Nursing Research and National Recognition Award for the Patient Care Services departments as required and according to NJ DOH mandates.

The Regional Admin Director is wholly responsible for the overall leadership, performance and day-to-day activities within the Education Dept and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality education and service.

This position is responsible for staff management, team building, budgeting, revenue cycle management, clinical operations, physician management and professional education/community referral development,

This position works in collaboration with the CNO, Directors Patient Care, Medical Directors, and Hospital Leadership to meet the Center s program objectives and help ensure optimal healing outcomes, patient satisfaction and employee engagement,

Oversees day to day management of education center

Ensures availability of adequate resources, supplies equipment and services,

Proficient in all responsibilities related to patient care,

Engages in all hospital staff development, providing general in services as well as individual instruction and orientation,

Collaborates with CNO a coordination of program objectives, from a budgetary and financial perspective,

Assures center maintains survey readiness for NJ DOH, The Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services compliance

Conducts interview for prospective staff and determines suitability for hire,

Manages performance management, behavioral management, evaluation process and disciplinary process,

Participates in continuing education meetings, committees or workgroups and identifies personal need both managerially and clinically and seeks resource as needed,
