Client Summary: Our client is a leading not-for-profit health care organization that is the largest, most comprehensive and truly integrated health care network in New Jersey, offering a complete range of medical services, innovative research and life-enhancing care.Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med SurgThe Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.Manages care of patients.Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Education Requirement: Preferred Education: Required Certifications & Licensure:NIHSSBLS-AHACEU Contact Stroke 4 HoursNJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Minimum 2 years (recent) strong Med-Surg experience required.Schedule Notes: 13 week contract 7P-730A, 3 12 hr shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed, no on-call requirement, they may be required to float to other med surg/tele units or to cover ED holds, required telemetry experienceEquiliem Healthcare specializes in staffing clinical, non-clinical, and allied personnel.
