Reporting Analyst

Description We are seeking a Reporting Analyst for our client in the New Providence, NJ area. The Reporting Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely submission of the SBA 1502 payment reports and the management of loan portfolio activities. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proficiency in data analysis tools. The Reporting Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with SBA regulations and optimize reporting processes.Responsibilites:

Reconcile daily 7a loans with the FTA site.

Handle late payment processing as necessary.

Track daily buyouts and paydowns.

Utilize advanced Excel and data analysis tools to oversee loan portfolio activities.

Manage project scope and changes in collaboration with Management.

Create and refine reports for necessity and efficiency.

Submit the SBA 1502 payment report monthly as required by the SBA.

Ensure seamless data and process integration.

Offer analytical support for data trends and identify efficiency opportunities.

Respond to audit data requests from internal and external auditors.

Explore and evaluate new reporting tools and data platforms.

Requirements

Advanced Excel skills.

Ability to utilize SQL.

Ability to cross-train others.

Problem solving skills, as well as clear communication skills.

Be able to meet tight deadlines.

Previous experience with pivot tables, macros, formulas, charting, and conditional formatting.
