- As part of the US Business Transformation effort, this role will be a key support role for the Enterprise Service Platform.
- The Business Analyst is a versatile team member that supports the team and PO by acting as a voice of business interests within the team.
- The Analyst supports development of a business case, analyzes existing processes and systems, and helps ensure the PO builds something that is practical within existing business rules.
- The Analyst also supports the product roll-out plan and post-implementation success measurement (i.e., KPIs) to inform future product iterations.
- Specifically Salesforce, Genesys and Financial services knowledge, agile knowledge.
- Independently work with other groups such as Finance and Operations to detail business case and sources of value.
- Collect, clean, and analyze data to assist team in making data-driven decisions.
- Develop a deep understanding of current business processes.
- Collaborate with the business on how to get the product to work within the organization.
- Develop a roll-out plan.
- Support the PO in capturing and analyzing acceptance criteria.
- Define metrics used to track success of the team in the future (KPIs).
- Basic knowledge of relevant business domain preferred (ILI, Annuity and GI).
- Basic understanding of data repositories and landscape of SMEs preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to produce high quality output under strict and accelerated timelines.
- Effectively works in a team setting with a diverse set of SMEs and stakeholders.
- Ability to proactively identify business needs within the team and represent the voice of the Product Owner to SMEs without significant supervision.
- Challenger mindset and passion to challenge status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box solutions to complex problems.
- Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency and trust across the team.
- Has a learning mindset to take on versatile roles as required by the team involving analytics, business rule definition, testing, and operationalization.
- Agile experience preferred but not required.
