A New Jersey-based pharmaceutical company is currently seeking a new Salesforce Engineer for a promising opportunity with their staff. In this role, the Salesforce Engineer will be responsible for owning and delivering complex cloud-based solutions using technologies, such as SFDC, Service Cloud and Communities. This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work 3 days a week onsite (Tues-Weds-Thurs).
Responsibilities: The Salesforce Developer will:- Analyze business requirements, map Salesforce capabilities and features translating requirements into standard solutions leveraging Salesforce platform
- Participate or lead in Solution designing and architecture, lay out technology options performing fit analysis for solution implementation
- Perform design, development, prototyping, testing, documentation and deployment of Salesforce solutions
- Work on design and development of interfaces Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and integrations from Salesforce to external systems
- Follow Agile methodology promoting continuous iteration of development and testing throughout the software development lifecycle of the project
- Adhere to platform best practices in implementing Salesforce solutions in compliance with security standards, including standard and custom platform development with Lightning Components, Apex, and Visualforce
- Perform other duties, as needed
- A minimum of five years of Salesforce platform / design / development consulting experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Possess one or more Salesforce certifications
- Strong knowledge and experience of Salesforce development, configuration, and administration capabilities
- Experience working with the Force.com development platform: Apex Code (Triggers, Controllers and Batch classes), Visualforce pages, Web Service APIs and the Lightning Platform (Aura /LWC framework), triggers, SOQL, and SOSL
- Prior knowledge with System Integrations using API form within the Salesforce platform
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming methodologies, Services Oriented Design Principles (SOA), design patterns and development best practices
- Possess one or more Salesforce Certification(s) and strong knowledge and experience of Salesforce development, configuration, and administration capabilities

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MS, and/or a related field
