SDET Automation QA Consultant - Financial, Java coding, TestNG - Jersey City, NJ 40420

We have an immediate Contract opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of SDET Automation QA Consultant to work in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate should include but is not limited to: Java, JavaScript, Python, C, Ruby, HTML, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter, etc. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and delivery process as well as with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Experience with building automation solutions for both desktop and digital platform (Mobile, Web, etc.) front ends, APIs, Microservices, and backends is necessary. The applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of ALM, Jira, Rally, Zephyr or related tools as well as familiarity with software testing (unit, integration, functional, regression). Experience with source control, build and deployment tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc. is essential. Familiarity with test automation tools, libraries, and frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin, Ruby, Selenium, Appium, xCode, XCUI, Espresso, etc. as well as with web services standards and related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, REST, etc.).
