Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Hybrid - Weehawken, NJ

Compensation Range : $170K-$180K base + bonus

What You'll Do:
  • Take ownership and drive deliveries within a supportive team environment
  • Be comfortable within a fast moving Agile team
  • Embrace the complex derivatives on the platform and enjoy the challenge of simplifying and rationalizing them
  • Support US equities business
  • Responsible for providing the systems that ensure our compliance to various regulatory requirements.
Skills / Experience You Will Need:
  • Four year bachelor's degree or the international equivalent
  • Ideally 8+ years of proven experience in Cloud and streaming technologies.
  • Big Data development and implementation
  • Knowledge of Kafka/Flink will be added advantage.
  • Microsoft Azure & cloud Lake House, security, database, web services
  • Azure Data bricks, ADF & BI
  • Oracle, Sybase or SQL Server
  • Loading from disparate data sets
  • Experience designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting Hadoop
  • Ability to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design.
  • Experience performing analysis of vast data stores and uncover insights.
  • Experience maintaining security and data privacy.
  • Able to create scalable and high-performance web services for data tracking
  • High-speed querying.
  • Knowledge of Python and Postgres database awareness would be added advantage
