Senior Core/WAN Routing Engineer

Senior Core/WAN Routing Engineer:Preferably in Whippany, NJ for meetings, but possibly 100 percent remote (TBC).Act as the lead subject matter expert responsible for the planning and design of the global enterprise WAN/ Metro network infrastructure.Current knowledge and expert understanding and experience IP Routing protocols, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF.Knowledge of the various network hardware and software manufacturers and their roles within the industry, Cisco, Juniper, Arista.Knowledge of IP Multicast routing protocols - PIM, IGMP, IGMP-Snooping.Extensive experience with MPLS, L2 & L3 VPN, Traffic Engineering, VPLS, RSVP (Segment Routing a Plus).Current knowledge and expert understanding and experience IP Routing protocols, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF.Current knowledge and understanding of cloud providers and cloud networking solutions to partner with internal public Cloud teams.Work with senior engineers in the development of next-generation network solutions such as SDWAN and Cloud Networking with appropriate documentation, templates, use cases and acceptance testing.Collaborate with the Automation and Tools Engineering team to assist in the development of scripts for automated configuration deployment.Detailed understanding of routing and switching technology, routing protocols, IP networks, and MPLS.Carrier grade network engineerIP routing WAN MetroThe SME person to go to understanding of cloud and routing protocolsWAN Metro ColosTied very closely with the DC Engineer, focused on the CarrierHow do we connect DC to colos public cloud and global WANConnectivity to Azure and AWS
