Senior DevOps/ SRE Engineer

Be part of Tradewebs highly-skilled DevOps team responsible for the tooling and automation underlying the deployment, monitoring and management of services and applications. This role will be responsible for working with development teams to ensure that their deployment infrastructure is fully automated. Part of your responsibilities will include mentoring juniors, taking ownership of projects and driving SDLC processes. Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

• Build and deploy software using modern DevOps techniques
• Improve and support CI/CD pipelines with a goal to maximize the velocity and safety of deployments.
• Work closely with business and technology teams to analyze and resolve issues on the platform
• Collaborate closely with other senior members of the DevOps and Platform engineering teams to define architectural and operation aspects of our infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools like ElasticSearch, Logstash, Prometheus, Splunk, etc
• Automate manually intensive operations and increase efficiency
• Provide a consistently high-level of service to all customers, internal and external

• 5+ years of experience in the DevOps/SRE space
• BSc in a technical subject: e.g. CS, Math, Physics, EE or or an equivalent level of technical knowledge required.
• Experience with the technologies such as Linux, Git, Gitlab pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Experience with Infrastructure As Code and Config Management tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc
• Experience with any public cloud AWS preferred
• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages including C, Python, Javascript, etc.
• Understanding with logging and monitoring platforms: Elastic, Splunk, Prometheus, etc

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $100,000 to $250,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
