Working across different teams, you are an effective communicator who takes ownership to deliver results in our open, collaborative environment.With more than five years’ experience working on collaborative data analysis or research computing projects, you will bring your knowledge and ability to select, adapt, and effectively use various programming methods including:Fluency in a high-level programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Linux).Expertise in reproducible software practices (version control, issue tracking, automated testing, package management) and DevOps.Experience with any of the following is a bonus: conducting research, working with researchers, data visualization, interactive web tools, machine learning and AI, familiarity with research data management, data governance, data security, and compliance in research settings.Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity A primary aim will be to work in the Centre, engaging with researchers to co-design and build research data solutions, including virtual machines, data storage and visualisation, and specialist applications applying new and existing technologies.
