Job Description There is a company that is actively trying to hire a Senior Firmware Engineer in Rockleigh, NJ.

Responsibilities:

Daily activities will include the full life-cycle of design, develop, modify, test, debug, and support the new, as well as the existing firmware for all our Digital Media products.work on drivers for the next generation video chipsWork closely with Hardware and Software design engineers to solve cross-functional design issues.Work with technical support to resolve problems in the field with existing product's firmware.Provide technical documentation (test procedures, design specifications, etc.).

Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is requiredA minimum of 6-9 years of proven experience developing and debugging embedded softwareA minimum of at least 2 years' experience as a team lead or technical expertMust have strong C, & C skills.Experience with Low Level Device driverExperience with a Real Time Operating System (RTOS)Experience debugging embedded systems where step debugging may not be available.Experience with communication networks and protocols (e.g. USB, Ethernet, TCP/IP, etc.) are also beneficial.Experience with analog and digital video is also beneficialExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize competing projects and deliver with confidence in a fast-paced environmentMeticulous attention to detail and strong organizational senseMotivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamStrong computer skills
