Seeking a Guidwire Business Analyst with the ability to communicate with both the business and development teams. You should have experience translating technical requirements and driving the delivery of application development, specifically Guidewire PolicyCenter. You will work closely with the business on gathering, validating, and documenting business information and needs and participating in the development lifecycle to help deliver high value solutions to meet the needs of the business.Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with various business partners to elicit, document, and review requirements with a multifunctional team
  • Analyze current state and future state requirements
  • Perform gap analysis and provide guidance on best course to bridge those gaps
  • Gather, direct, and define technical and end-user application development requirements from the business
  • Create workflows and UI mock-ups for requirements sessions to accommodate discussion and help product owners understand risks and impacts of requests
  • Communicate with the business and development teams on technical requirements and delivery
  • Document and present solutions and approaches to senior business and technology stakeholders to make strategic or tactical recommendations
  • Build relationships between teams, IT staff, and business partners to ensure high quality and timely delivery of customer focused solutions
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing
  • Work with QA to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Advise business on best practices for configurations of their PolicyCenter instance.
  • Challenge current thought processes to move organization towards improved practices and standards.
Qualifications:
  • 3- 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst
  • 3+ years' experience working and communicating with clients gathering requirements and providing expert IT advice
  • Experience reading and interpreting Insurance Services Office (ISO) rules and forms
  • Knowledge of PolicyCenter UI, Data Model, Product Designer, and Application Logic
  • Experience working with Standards-Based Templates (SBT)
  • Experience with Commercial Lines of Business with Commercial Auto being a focus
  • Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience with BillingCenter and ClaimCenter a plus
  • Knowledge of acceptance testing, use cases, and overall testing
  • Strong verbal and written communicator, able to speak with the business experts confidently and produce comprehensive documentation
  • Well organized and consistently delivers on commitments within predetermined timelines
  • Able to work under tight timeframes and be able to multi-task effectively
