Senior IT Manager - Infrastructure/Servers

This consulting position will have shared responsibility and reporting to the Manager of Core Infrastructure (Server team). This position is located in the Messer Bridgewater NJ Office.Responds to customer technical problems/issues related to hardware and software both for server areas.Diagnose problems and provide resolutions for technical and service issues.Monitors and tracks issues to ensure accurate resolution, including updating tickets with resolution details.Key operational responsibilities in server area: AD/GPO changes, patching, upgrades, backup, monitoring, trouble-shooting issues, servers, etc.Building servers in VMWare and configuring to customer requirements. Working with 3rd parties to provide service, resolve issues and provide solutions.Effectively communicates decisions to achieve understanding and acceptance of changes and/or direction.Update IS process documentation and end-user documentation to support issues efficiently and effectively, to ensure consistent service levels and quick resolutions.Closely align with IS Service Teams and ensure standards/policies/processes are followed.
