We have long been associated with many of the most significant advances in eye health, and we believe we are well positioned to continue leading the advancement of eye health in the future.The Senior Master Data Governance Analyst will report to the Master Data Director and will focus on assisting the development of Data Governance strategy and maturing Data Governance capabilities at Bausch and Lomb. This position works daily with cross-functional data owners and stewards to maintain high quality master data across Material, Supplier, and Customer. This position is also responsible for supporting data design by collaborating with partners from the business, technology, and data teams.Key Responsibilities:

Support Data Governance Training : Assist in developing and delivering training programs to enhance data literacy and ensure compliance with data governance policies.

Handle Ad-Hoc Assignments : Manage ad-hoc tasks related to item data integrity.

Design and Implement Processes : Assist in the design and implementation of data governance processes and procedures.

Troubleshoot and Analyze : Address concerns from business units and complete service requests through thorough analysis.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work with business, data, and analytics teams to identify key data elements and ensure high-quality data sources.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert : Lead the development and scaling of data quality measurement and tracking across SAP data.

Monitor and Report : Track and report on data quality and governance metrics to senior management, ensuring improvements meet established standards.

Support Enterprise Data Governance : Collaborate with Data Stewards and Analytical Data Stewards to ensure consistent execution of data governance principles across B+L’s enterprise and analytical systems.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Supply Chain or equivalent.

A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in data governance, systems delivery, and supply chain management.

Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.

Hands on experience with data quality tools and technologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct line of authority.

In-depth knowledge of large, complex data and application integration concepts and initiatives (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA implementation).

Demonstrated expertise in complex data analysis using tools such as SQL and Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications:

Expert knowledge and understanding of SAP MDG

Matrix management skills and business acumen
