Senior .NET Engineer

This is truly an opportunity you don't want to miss.How You’ll Add ValueWe are seeking an energetic and seasoned Senior Software Developer that will join a team that is responsible for the organization’s software creation and maintenance in partnership with stakeholders across the company.What You’ll Do:· Develop, implement and support applications and tools used for content management, e-commerce, web publishing, social networking etc.· Design and develop user interfaces which interface with SQL Server databases and other tools· Work with clients and Business Analysts to build and refine user experience and application usability· Provide technical recommendations and documentation as well as evaluating new technologies· Create documentation for processes and implementations· Provide test plans and test suites for applications· Bug fixing, troubleshooting and application supportWho you are:· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering required· Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering preferred· 5+ years of software development experience required· Object-oriented design and analysis skill a must; Experience in web applications development, and knowledge of software development standards, methodologies, and architecture· Experience creating applications using .NET and SQL Server technologies required. Technologies include but are not limited to: C#, ASP.NET, Master Pages, shared library development, Web Services, XML and Reporting· DBA skills, including database architecture and maintenance in SQL server environment· Understanding of and ability to design and utilize relational databases and SQL· Expert knowledge in testing methodologies; Design testable software from the beginning; Design effective and reliable unit test cases;· Expertise in translating business requirements into technical solutions and architectures· Experience working with Unix / Linux environment a plus· Work independently with minimum supervision and be a valuable contributor in an interactive team environment
