A New Jersey-based entertainment organization is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join their staff as their new Senior .NET Full Stack Developer.
Responsibilities: The Senior .NET Full Stack Developer will:- Interact regularly with users to gather feedback, listen to their issues and concerns, recommend solutions
- Conduct training sessions for users
- Create and handle documentation in coordination with software development teams/vendors
- Work closely with internal team and external partners to ensure new developments align with roadmap and integrate seamlessly with other platform components
- Handle application rollouts, systems upgrade to acquire new and improved functionality, identity product versions worth upgrading or skipping, balance between business need and vendor recommendation
- Apply user experience techniques
- Support ongoing development, implementation and quality checks for existing projects/applications
- Identify opportunities to demonstrate new technologies to enhance the Platform as well as bring in more automation
- Assist in the ongoing support of multiple application environments
- Research and learn new applications & technologies
- Resolve production issues in a timely manner, communicating with users on the progress of the issues through email, phone or slack
- Coordinate with Cyber and Desktop teams, remediate security risk, keeps patches up to date
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Expertise in ASP.Net Web Forms, C#.Net, ASP.Net Core MVC, WebAPI, React JS, SQL Server, PL SQL, MongoDB, Azure Dev Ops, etc.
- Expertise in Full Stack Development
- Experience with best in breed Code Management and Documentation practices
- Authority in usage of Agile Tooling, specifically TFS, Jira, etc.
- Experience leading discussions with the goal of clearly extracting & articulating business requirements and corresponding solutions.
- Solid understanding and experience working in an Agile based environment
- Customer interfacing experience
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Knowledge of Media industry
