Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for a Sr. Network Engineer that can be onsite to support our Network Lab environment. The Engineer will be the onsite support for our remote OEM team that will require them to install, cable, config, test, etc network devices. The Engineers will need to have experience following MOPS and onsite/provide smart hands support. We are looking for professional that require little supervision and looking for a long term engagement.

• Cisco and Nokia
• Hardware Installation
• Firmware
• Ability to effectively communicate/interact and support remote teams

• Network Lab environment experience
• Knowledge of Cisco N9k, Nokia 7750/7850 and Arista 7000/7200/7500 series of switches and routers
• Knowledge of Ciena and Juniper (we just started working with these two)

• Maintain network lab
• Install and cable network devices as needed
• Configure basic configuration of devices
• Able to follow provided MOP documentation to apply “site like” configurations when needed
• Provide onsite / smart hands support to the remote testing team, making config and cabling changes as needed
• Update network device firmware as required
• Coordinate with OEMs to install apps and virtual devices within the lab as required

• Ixia familiarity – basic setup
• Basic app deployment skills for install lab tools
