Senior PMO Agile Delivery Lead

What can you expect?
  • To work as part of an multi-disciplinary Agile team to design and deliver high quality business solutions
  • To identify areas of improvement within the product lifecycle and Agile delivery processes
  • To support and design global solutions for business problems
  • Ability to play significant role in shaping software delivery methodology, processes and long term effectiveness in the placement and policy domain

We will count on you to:
  • Define and enforce standard processes using Agile methodologies within a project portfolio including project setup/configuration, backlog management, sprint activities, roadmap/dependency management
  • Collaborate with Agile teams (internal and external) working across multiple functional work streams to understand then plan/track resource allocation, utilization, and budget
  • Conduct working sessions with program stakeholders to review objectives, scope, plans, understand operational pain points and challenges, and confirm underlying program assumptions
  • Assist with planning, facilitation and follow-up activities related to Program Increments and Sprints
  • Establish communication cadence to provide timely information to program stakeholders
  • Advise teams on overall Program approach, status, and coordination
  • Advise teams on stakeholder engagement, workshop setup, and content delivery
  • Contribute PMO view into strategic and tactical planning, budgeting, and priority setting
  • Establish/Manage Governance Processes for IT (and Business as needed)
  • Advise and engage on overall program approach, status, and coordination
  • Advise on leading practices related to IT process efficiency and program governance activities
  • Track and report status against deliverables – at regular intervals
  • Support and coach execution teams and Line of Business (LOB)/Function leads with the identification and implementation of plans
  • Support the development of templates and tools needed for program delivery
  • Draft, review and distribute program communication and updates per pre-determined cadence
  • Monitor project portfolios and delivery in accordance with required time, quality, and budget
  • Track, communicate and proactively manage risks, issues, and change management
  • Provide upward program reporting per governance requirements
  • Produce, communicate, and manage project plans
  • Manage program scope, documentation, change control and escalation processes
  • Align with global Agile leaders to ensure adherence to company-wide governance related to Agile methodologies
  • Actively participate in company-wide Agile initiatives and focus groups

What you need to have:
  • At least 15-20 years managing as a Senior Level PMO, Program Director
  • High level of expertise in defining and optimizing IT Process, Operations, and Business functional areas
  • Expert in oral and written communication
  • High level of expertise in managing software and infrastructure technologies used in commercial insurance, including experience with IT process automation solutions
  • Expertise in Agile Methodologies for process and technology delivery
  • Experienced in management level conflict resolution
  • Experience in managing diverse teams, of varying size from small groups up to enterprise level
  • Have strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree and Advanced Certificates preferred

What makes you stand out?
  • Experience with utilizing Jira for Agile project management including the use of advanced reporting and roadmap features
  • Experience leading software development projects that utilize low-code/no-code platforms
