Senior QA Engineer

As the Sr. Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer on the Online Business team, you will be an integral contributor to the digital transformation of Volvo Cars USA, a leading disruptor in the automotive industry. You will be part of a team that is critical to supporting the processes for building digital products to meet our future business needs and enable new services for multiple high-visibility initiatives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to understand the requirement, and integration needs, and coordinate with developers to execute those initiatives. In this role, you will: Design test strategies and create test plans and test cases . Primary Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology partners, and team members
• Support businesses with optimal digital solutions based on stakeholder and end-user needs
• Utilize Agile/Scrum Methodologies for work in pre-studies projects or in runtime delivery
• Perform automation analysis (proof of concept) for applications under test
• Determine manual test cases deemed in scope for automation development
• Conduct thorough testing using the preferred automation tool and build the framework
• Ensure quality of standards are met/exceeded based on requirements and user stories product backlog items (PBIs)
• Evaluate and test new or modified software to ensure software deliveries meet standards
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, test planning, test script, and develop/modify regression suites
• Document defects and enhancement requests, and write detailed steps for duplication of resolved issues
• Ensure the application under test meets the quality of business standards following test industry standards and best practices

• A BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering science, Information Technology, or other equivalents/related programs.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes

• Experience with Performance, Reliability, Stress, Load, Security, High Availability testing
• Ability to present to various levels of management.
• A strong communicator who works well within a team, respects others, and always encourages and supports colleagues with the customer goal in mind
• Testing Frameworks exposure: WebdriverIO, Cypress, Robot, Cucumber, Protractor, TestNG, Selenium, PowerMockito

• Tools: Selenium and UFT/QTP, LoadRunner, ELK Stack, Elastic Search (KQL), SQL, NoSQL

• Languages: Java, C#, Typescript, JavaScript, React, Angular, Python,

• Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
