Senior QC Analytical Chemist - Group Leader

Eurofins PSS is currently hiring for a Senior QC Analytical Chemist Group Leader to support and lead GMP testing of pharmaceutical in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples. In addition, the successful candidate will support investigations of invalid results, method transfer activities, and lead a team of 3-5 individual contributors. This individual will have high attention to detail and possess excellent organizational skills.Key Responsibilities:Conduct testing and review in accordance with approved methods, specifications, protocols, and compendial requirementsFollow protocols for GMP regulations, including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211, and applicable ICH guidelinesTesting of pharmaceutical samples including in-process, raw materials, intermediates, API, stability, and more.Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studiesSupport investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid resultsUtilize various analytical techniques including: NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, Conductivity, Specific Rotation, Titration, TGA, and moreReference standard qualification and managementElemental impurities and residual solvent testing and reviewLeadership & Team Management Responsibilities:Lead, manage, and develop a team of chemists.Serve as a proactive and effective point of contact for client and internal teams.Participate in new hire interviews and onboarding processes as neededDisseminate administrative communications and promote company visionEnsure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsPerform administrative tasks to support team member growth and developmentBalance technical work with team leadership responsibilitiesFoster morale, collaboration, and teamwork with the group
