Senior Quality Engineer (12 months Fixed Term)

Purpose of your roleThe Senior Quality Engineer role will bring industry-leading technical and testing skills and practices that enable the improvement of the overall software quality of our products.You are passionate about the quality of the outcomes of the software your team is working on and you are constantly looking for ways to improve quality across the entire SDLC.Working in an agile environment you will provide technical leadership and provide senior technical expertise and support while delivering quality software. You have a great understanding of all the skills and competencies required to bring a successful software product to life and understand that you are a critical part of a creative and learning environment for the organisation.Your communication, collaboration and ability to convey complex concepts will enable you to discuss quality with product owners and software engineers and other stakeholders and identify you as the go-to person for all things quality.You will proactively help push the technical standards and quality of the team forwards. You are responsible for delivering high quality application, automation and testing code in accordance with industry best practice and OFX guidelines.Where required, the Senior Quality Engineer will take on the technical leadership of a piece of work by performing the function of a technical lead on a task.
