Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and self-motivated Part-Time Social Media Specialist to join our growing team. As our Social Media Specialist, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining our brand presence across various social media platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is dedicated to promoting sustainability and wants to be part of a start-up with a mission-driven agenda. We are open to college students/people from all backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.

Create and curate content that aligns with our brand values and resonates with our target audience.

Manage day-to-day social media activities, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and monitoring trends. (this can also be done on a less frequent basis, depending on employee's availability)

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media platforms to keep our strategies fresh and effective.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in social media management would be ideal but open to college students who are just starting their careers!

Strong understanding of current social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to create engaging and visually appealing content.

Familiarity with analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to optimize strategies. (or can self-teach this)

Requirements:

Part-time commitment, with flexible hours to accommodate your schedule.

Availability for occasional team meetings and collaboration sessions.

Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. (Tik Tok is a plus!)

Proactive and self-driven with a positive attitude.
