Data Intelligence has an exciting role for Software Engineers in Moorestown, NJ. In this significant role you will be working on the development of cutting-edge software solutions for combat systems that protect our country and US Navy sailors.

Flexible 9/80 work schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots, application software.
Performs preliminary and detailed design, design implementation (coding), subsystem Level 1 and Level 2 tests for assigned capabilities.
Supports system level integration as assigned.
Participates in software reviews.
Research problems discovered by product support or customers and develops solutions to the problems.
As required, provides inputs for documentation of new or existing programs.
Primarily interfaces with intraorganizational staff.
Routinely interfaces with the customer regarding requirements and test

Education and Qualifications Requirements:

Must be a US citizen and ability to apply for Department of Defense SECRET level security clearance
Bachelor’s degree (in Engineering, Computer Science or related field) or equivalent
2-4 years of related industry experience
2+ years of experience developing software with C. Experience with Python and Bash a plus.
Experience working with the Windows, Unix/Linux
Strong skills with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse
Familiar with UML syntax and its use
Familiar with Testing Frameworks, experience with xUnit framework such as Junit and CppUnitLite a plus
Good communications skills

Experience with the following tools are considered a plus:

Knowledge/experience with Aegis BMD System
GIT (Version Control software)
UCC (Universal Code Counter)
Greenhopper (Agile Development Project Management tool)
JIRA (Issue and bug tracking tool)
Crucible (Peer Code Review tool)
Bamboo (build/deployment tool)
