Job Description:

The Team:

The Enterprise Innovation & Enablement (EIE) team is responsible for ensuring that the enterprise technology strategies are in-line with the overall business strategy. Additionally, EIE works across the technology organizations to create collaboration and has a track record of delivering on time & high-quality software with a focus on business value.

The team also works with business partners & product owners from various lines-of-business to accelerate development and onboarding of innovative & emerging technology.

The Role:

This individual contributor role is for a full stack senior developer who will lead development work for various software accelerators. Additional responsibilities include improving internal processes through technology accelerator adoption in the organization.

Role Description:
  • A full stack Software Developer (Java/Python/Angular/Relational DB/NoSQL), responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals
  • Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
  • This role develops solutions, unit tests, and ensures the artifacts can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces
  • Be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and popular third-party libraries
  • Understand and convert macro level requirements into actionable tasks
  • Understand the continuous integration and continuous deployment lifecycle
  • Contribute to future design and architectural decisions
  • Communicate effectively with business and platform partners
  • Comfortable in rapid-prototyping environment to support various software accelerators

Required Skills:
  • Java, Python, Relational DB (Oracle, MS SQL Server), NoSQL (Mongo)
  • Strong unit testing, debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with version control like Git
  • Candidates should be proactive, ability to work with minimum supervision when given a goal, have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, assertiveness, and initiative
  • Comfortable in a lean-agile working environment
  • Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework-both front-end and back-end, if necessary (e.g., React )

Desired Skills:
  • Working knowledge of .NET, NodeJS, PHP, etc would be a plus
  • Familiarities with container technology like Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Openshift
  • An interest in data science / analytics / machine learning
