Software Test Contractor

Position Description We are seeking candidates for a software test engineer on our application development program with the US Army. The candidate will design, execute and automate application software tests on a team of approximately twelve engineers developing a Windows 10 network planning application for Army tactical networks.Position Responsibilities Review software requirements and prepare test cases and scenarios Execute software tests against functional requirements and software usability objectives Prepare reports on all aspects of application software testing for the development team and program management Create software builds and releases from program source code repositoryRequired Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and UI test automation methodologies and tools (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium, Sikuli) Experience with test planning, test procedure development and automation, and requirements mapping Experience with test results interpretation and test report documentation Working knowledge of source code repository and management systems (particularly Git)Desired: Working knowledge of programmingo TypeScript, Java, NodeJS, GraphQL, RabbitMQ, MongoDBo Windows Service Architecture, Windows Power Shell and Python Experience with development of Windows Installation packages
