Overview The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Specialist, Front-End Developer in Jersey City, NJ to provide application software development services or technical support in more complex situations. Responsible for requirements gathering and BRD/SRD preparation. Requirements: Bachelor-s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Designing prototypes with Material design guidelines and developing user interfaces for financial systems with Object Oriented language, JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, Angular JS, Angular, Node, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Java, Python; Creating task runners using NodeJS, Grunt, Yarn, Python, Gulp, Bower and automating build and deploy process in CI/CD and other DevOps tools; Implementing cloud-based solutions for highly scalable and high-performance services using Docker, Container, App Engine technologies; Building tests with Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Selenium, Puppeteer and integrating with quality monitoring tools such as SonarQube; Visualizing large amount of data using Tableau, Prometheus, High Charts and Grafana with complex financial data structures; and Utilizing Agile and performing Test-Driven Development. In the alternative, the Employer will accept a Master-s degree in an above-stated field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation as well as three (3) years of experience with all of the above-stated skills. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master-s degree experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Salary range: $157,477.00 - $161,250.00/year.
