Mandatory skills - SQL Server administration required skillsSr.level Microsoft SQL Server DBA with experience in large and critical environments. Good Experience of performance tuning at both server level and query level. Candidate must have knowledge of perfmon, SQL Server dynamic management views. Knowledge of SQL server internals. Knowledge of SQL partitioning. Hands-on experience on mirroring, replication and Always ON Must have automation experience. Good knowledge of scripting. Ability to write scripts in T-SQL, PowerShell or Python. Knowledge of SSIS packages. Hands-on experience on SQL Server Clustering. Hands-on experience on Integration Services, Reporting services and Analysis services Good to have skills Knowledge on AWS Cloud services like RDS, S3, Redshift etc MySQL/PostgresSQL knowledge / experience. Linux Knowledge. Experience with Azure Experience with Snow Flake Experience in PowerBICertifications Desired MS certifications on MSSQL latest versions or AWS/AzureResponsibility : Ability to think about a problem, identify what we have and implement solutions to solve the problem independently Work with onsite client team / Application owners in US / UK to Migrate Applications, Database building and Decommissioning Ability to take lead on some projects and works as part of a team (follow another leader on others) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to think in and out of the box. Self-motivated, conscientious, dedicated individual who works equally well independently or as a member of a team Must be willing to take responsibility and ownership instead of waiting to be assigned work The candidate must be willing to provide On-call and weekend support for SQL and MYSQL, the support is rotated among DBA's in US and India Enable and support the team in resolving day-to-day production issues, application upgrades and patches, performance analysis, disaster recovery implementation, capacity planning and other activities as may be necessary.
