Sr. Accountant

Description Robert Half is seeking a Sr. Accountant for our client located in the East Windsor, NJ area. You will be responsible for:Responsibilities:· Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.· Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries and transactions are accurate.· Produce comprehensive financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flow.· Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies, analyze trends, and provide insights.· Review tenant leases to ensure they are comprehensive and in line with company standards and policies.· Respond to tenant inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.· Handle common area maintenance billings effectively and accurately.· Regularly update work papers and other related files and records.· Coordinate with the property management department to develop and manage budgets, considering the financial impact on both tenants and the company.Requirements Requirements:· A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a relevant field.· Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.· Proficient in the use of accounting software; knowledge of Yardi software is a plus.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with tenants and cross-functional teams.· Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.· Sound understanding of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
