Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the bustling city of Jersey City, New Jersey. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where your key responsibilities will include various accounting tasks such as account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and handling journal entries. Company is on a tremendous growth track!Responsibilities: Oversee and manage general ledger activities Perform account reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy Conduct balance sheet reconciliations Handle bank reconciliations to ensure all financial data aligns Prepare and record journal entries for business transactions Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial reporting and analysis tasks Perform month-end close procedures and ensure all deadlines are met Operate accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting tasks Ensure all financial reports are prepared and delivered on time Continually review and improve accounting processes and proceduresRequirements Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Hands-on experience with Bank Reconciliations Strong knowledge of General Ledger management Ability to conduct accurate Journal Entries Expertise in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks Master's Degree or higher is preferred not required CPA is a plus not required 3 + years of senior accountant experience Degree in AccountingRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
