Position Description CGI is seeking a seasoned Sr Business Analyst consultant to join our growing team supporting life science clients through end to end business and technology solution offerings and professional services The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI, and our end-clients. This subject matter expert will be work at various CGI/and client sites consulting and executing various life science business and IT initiatives. This may include such activities as road map assessment architecture, industry best practices, technology/system/process implementations, as well as business process optimization, and organizational readiness.

Due to an uptick in client demand, CGI's Mid Atlantic Life Science Division is actively looking to add Sr / Consultant / Business Analysts with familiarity of the pharmaceutical ecosystem. The right individuals will have experience and capabilities to handle the following: The Sr Business Analyst works with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build & support a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. The role of the business analyst is to take this knowledge and ensure that the business and IT are in alignment. The Business Solutions Specialist will ensure the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its IT strategy, and documents this using multiple models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.

The client is based out of New Haven, CT, but we are accepting candidates from the PA, NJ or NY Work is mostly remote, but there will be occasional travel to the client site in CT.

Your future duties and responsibilities• Coordinate with the client and Program leads to plan and drive client and newly acquired entity's transition activities. Coordination to occur through virtual meetings, face-to-face workshops, deliverable reviews, & communications.• Plan and execute interviews and working sessions with key business experts to capture business requirements as well as technical requirement /design documentation.• Identify/ author SDLC documentation as required by IT and Quality for the transfer and integration of required entity / parent systems• developments, offering framework capabilities and communication skills• Interpersonal and leadership skills• Ability to articulate the various types of architecture required to implement a new business capability.• Depth in business process improvements, business processing mapping• Ability to capture business process needs, process mapping, process mapping definition, through individual discussions, group discussions, and workshops• Knowledge and experience developing estimating models and solution estimates for complex multi-system environments• Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering• Communication of technical information to business partners, in non-technical language
