The Sr. Clinical Application Programmer will be accountable for developing clinical applications for clinical data management and other areas of clinical using SAS and other visual analytics tool to perform data review and data cleaning in Oncology clinical trial area. Support global projects initiatives by providing technical help to the data operations group. Help in creating SAS tools as needed to expedite SAS programming activities.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate existing data review process to propose strategy and technical solutions using different visual analytics tools

Analyze business requirement and design/develop visual analytics reporting solution to support standard reporting and dashboards.

Collaboration with external stake holders to define the requirements and support the different functional units within the business group.

Develop applications using SAS to create complex listings/reports to support Data Management function to clean data for Oncology trials.

Create reports and dashboard using raw, SDTM and ADaM data for easier data visualization.

Participate in system validation, customization, and integration of new tools and technologies.

Evaluate existing tools and programs to re-design, update and add new features for enhancements.

Develop applications to provide patient profiles and ad-hoc reports for data review to support the clinical teams.

Design and develop global tools and other utilities to expedite day to day activities and usage by the Oncology Data Management and other areas of Clinical for data review.

Develop and maintain the programs including testing with proper documentation using departmental standards.

Ensure all programming activities and processes performed are conducted according to standard operating procedures and good programming practices.

Perform user administration, Training and Support of JReview Application.

Develop dashboard, standard tools and tracker using JReview/other Application.

Collaborate with data base programmers for processing different types of external data e.g., laboratory data, PK, ECG,Tumor, and etc.

Work on Submission related activities and Audits.

Work with other departments to align activities and deliverables.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science or Technology degree.

A minimum of 7 years SAS programming experience, 2-3 years JReview experience and 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.

Strong knowledge in Windows and UNIX environment, with proficiency in SAS/Base, SAS Macros, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS/Graph, SAS/SQL, SAS Grid, SAS Enterprise Guide, CDISC, SDTM, MedDRA, WHO DRUG.

Experience in Tableau, Python, R, R-shiny and any other data visualization programming.

Good Knowledge of data management process; Good understanding of data cleaning process.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Capable of communicating technical concepts and Strong problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of system development life cycles, Google Cloud Platform, and related Regulatory guidelines.

Knowledge of end to end data flow of Clinical Trial which involves Raw Data, SDTM, ADaM and TLFs related to Oncology trials.

Experience in designing and building applications.

In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools.
