Role: Sr. SAP ABAP Developer Location: Camden, NJ Hybrid twice a week Hire Type: 6+ Month Contract (Extendable) Need 10+ years of experience. Responsible for providing optimal solutions for the required business functions for the project Extensive experience in business processes in ISU Data models. Strong understanding in Device Management configurations and should have lead Device management solution including ISU Data modelling for at least one implementation project. Experience in work management for Utilities Experience in integration of Billing, FICA, Plant Maintenance and CRM. Experienced in handling projects based on ASAP and Agile methodologies. Understanding of SAP middleware functions including BDOC architecture, replication, message queues, and request processing Strong analytical and Problem-solving skills with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, having dealt with clients and members Need strong experience in ABAP. Develop ABAP programs for SAP EAM related work. Experience on ISU Management Proficient in User Exits; BADI's , Customer Exits. Should be able to work in Agile models Design, write the ABAP and ABAP custom programs and modify standard ones - Must have experience of converting functional specification to technical specification - Develop/maintain application code that adheres to coding standards and best practices - Complete thorough unit testing to validate that the coding meets requirements - Should have strong hands-on knowledge in ABAP technologies - OData, Web Dynpro, HANA, SucessFactors, SAPUI5, Workflow. - Should be familiar with the OOPS model - Experience in working with logical databases and Cluster programming. - Ability to help resolve complex technical issues and independently manage critical/complex situations. Should be good developer to work with Customer & other team members of Cognizant.
