Full-time Sr. Security AnalystHybrid schedule - 3 days onsite in PiscatawaySeeking a Sr. Security Analyst with experience across various security domains in a collaborative environment. Work with teams across the enterprise, mentoring a team of security analysts, and improving security awareness across the organization.Experience or interest in cloud security technologies (AWS preferred) in a shared services model.Will train where necessary for the environment but this is a Senior role and expect this person to have the ability to learn new tools and environment rather quickly.This position defines, implements, and maintains information security practices, measures, and technologies (consistent with industry best practices) to ensure appropriate protection of clients data, systems and services. It utilizes strong policy and process knowledge as well as skills and expertise with a variety of technologies to protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of clients information systems. This position provides leadership and focus for the architecture, integration, development and support of security systems and services to mitigate/reduce security risks for the client.- Proactively identifies vulnerabilities throughout the enterprise network. Assess and identify information security risks, and define appropriate mitigating measures.
- Coordinates and performs internal and external audits to ensure compliance with security practices, policy, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Leads security projects, which include installation of new security hardware/software and system configuration and design.
- Recommends and implements security solutions to mitigate security exposures based on risk, policies and agreed architectures.
Skills and Requirements (Custom)Direct experience involving security, monitoring and intrusion prevention strategies (e.g. Checkpoint Firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, Vulnerability, Threats, etc) in large, distributed, high performance, business critical environment.Familiarity with regulatory and legal requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI requirements) and with ISO17799 security standardsKnowledge of and implementation experience with security technologies and architecture, including but not limited to, encryption, network security, firewall configuration, two factor authentication, PKI and intrusion detectionExperience with vulnerability management, including testing, scanning, and patchingExperience conducting and mitigating security/risk assessmentsAbility to design and evolve viable security solutions for the envisioned world-wide IEEE technical infrastructure.One or more Certifications preferred such as: - CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional certification (CCSP)
