Hands on experience in Big data technology i.e Spark, Hadoop.

Public cloud(AWS) knowledge and certification will be preferred

Domain knowledge in the financial services space will be preferred.

Strong experience and leadership in technology modernization strategy, contemporary practices, patterns, and tooling, including, but not limited to Cloud computing. Should have devised/executed large distributed system, fault-tolerant, highly scalable databases and refactoring in accordance with cloud native principals. Understanding of big data technologies/ecosystem and event driven architectural and data modeling principals, API gateway etc

Experience of managing business stakeholders and leading a global distributed team. Engage effectively with Product managers and Sales business on an ongoing basis and serve as the ambassador of the vision & strategy

Strong written and oral communication skills, an ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills and an excellent work ethic.

Successful candidates must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Able to forge productive working relationships with product managers, product owners, business and technology stakeholders and other team members. Define and design business functionality based on an understanding of product strategy, operational, infrastructural, regulatory and market needs.

Experience of managing high caliber geographically distributed teams and serve as a role model, providing technical leadership and mentorship. Given global remit it will require working across multiple work streams and teams, flexibility to work with users across different time zones (when required) and within rigid timelines.
