Currently seeking a Sterling OMS Architect to design and architect multi-channel order-to-cash and omni-channel solutions for global retail business. The key focus of this position is to drive architecture decisions for future expansion of Sterling OMS platform as well as review current architecture and recommend appropriate improvements and build an improvement roadmap for existing platform. This role will be working closely with architects, technical, and functional leads to design solutions that are flexible, scalable, and reusable while meeting the business needs in timely manner. The Sterling Architect will be responsible for providing technical guidance to the firm and application manage service partner as well as ensuring that technical teams are following standards while implementing new projects and/or enhancements. Responsibilities:Lead the design and architecture of Sterling OMS. Responsible for end-to-end Sterling architecture including integration and enablement with third-party and legacy software platforms. Responsible for the successful design, build, implementation, and system integration of Sterling that is modular and scalable. Ensure the designed solution is aligned with performance and non-functional requirements. Accountable to determine the right configuration of the integration platform to suit the application strategy. Responsible for establishing the environment and instance strategy for integration platform environments. Ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions using various tools and information such as server logs and report debug logs. Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as IBM Sterling OMS Architect
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in working with a software development methodology with development and configuration experience in IBM Sterling
  • A strong understanding of IBM Sterling programming practices, standards, and conventions
  • Define platform requirements and conduct detailed design reviews with project teams
  • Strong understanding of retail and e-commerce order management process and hands on experience in supporting such processes
  • Experience with designing IBM Sterling solutions that are integrated with JDE-E1 and JDE-World ERP platform
  • Experience in designing and architecting solutions IBM Store Inventory Management (SIM) software.
Preferred:
  • Experience deploying distributed order management solutions for large retailers/manufactures on AWS, MS Azure and/or IBM Cloud
  • Working experience with container technologies and modern CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience of delivering projects within an Agile framework
  • Practices test driven development and domain driven design principles
