Full Time Live in Superintendent Position at a Garden Apartment Community Located in East Orange

Mus have hands on experience in:

Some Carpentry Work

o Examples: sanding, hanging doors, small wall repairs, installing laminated floors etc.

Minor Electric repairs

o Examples: installing light fixtures, sockets

Minor Plumbing

o General knowledge of commercial heating and domestic water system

Handling water related issues such as leaks, minor flooding etc.

Duties will Include:

Monitoring of property grounds

o Cleaning up any identified-on site (leaves, debris etc.)

o Minor landscaping/gardening work

Change locks, as necessary.

Perform minor repairs.

Change and fix smoke/carbon monoxide detectors.

Provide access/oversee outside contractors.

Collect Tenants garbage cans for Trash Days

Positive interaction with residents and public (must speak English)

Assist with small amount if snow removal if needed-provide access to doors and garages.

Maintain all sump pumps, window wells, and help manage/identify any water related issues (leaks etc.)

Bleeding heating units in apartments (radiators)

Showing apartments-Do walk throughs for move in and move out.

Email daily reports to office.

Minor painting and touch up.

Installing appliances such as microwaves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals

Compensation includes salary, super apartment, vacation time.
