IT Support Specialist

Location: Princeton, NJ

Providing hardware and software support to students, faculty, and staff. More specifically, this position provides level 1 and 2 support and solutions for a wide variety of computing devices and applications.

Tasks include:
  • Installing software and diagnosing MAC OS/Windows 10 software issues
  • providing user-specific configuration assistance
  • setting up customer technology on Princeton’s wireless networks
  • Gmail and Outlook email setup and diagnosing email issues
  • Microsoft Office configuration/troubleshooting
  • MAC OS/Windows 10 malware removal
  • imaging Mac/Windows computers
  • configuring mobile devices such as smart phones/tablets
  • data backup solutions
  • global printing
  • VPN configuration

An ideal candidate would possess:
  • strong knowledge of MAC OS and Windows 10 systems
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • excellent interpersonal and customer service-oriented skills
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow a plus
Education: At least a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field is required
