- Performs analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation phases for new development projects, application software changes, version upgrades, and production support issues.
- Ensure adherence to department standards, methods and policies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff and convey complex ideas both verbally and in written form.
- Minimum BS/BA and/or 4-year technical degree in a computer concentric area
- Minimum 8-10 years of Oracle/SQL programming and systems experience
- An understanding of Systems Integration concepts and experience utilizing them
- Motivated self-starter with innovative creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- An advanced understanding of computer concepts
- Expert in relationship database concepts and query applications coding (MS SQL/ Oracle)
- Proficiency with application development tools/suites (SSMS required, Oracle SQL developer)
- Expert with Oracle/MS SQL database reporting writing tools (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS are required)
- Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication
