Summary:Large Investment banking environment requires technical writer to document all processes in large scale software development environmentSoftware engineering group is growing and needs dedication Technical writer.Develop, modify, and coordinate review and approval for procedures to address IS activities in support of regulatory and quality requirements. Develop and coordinate delivery of training materials for regulatory awareness and IS processes, policies, standards and procedures. Review and assist in the development of technical requirements and specifications. Role:The Technical Writer will gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing features and capabilities. Their primary responsibility is to create and maintain documentation and process flows for existing and new technology features as a reference for development, product and business teams. Responsibilities Translate user stories, technical designs and documentation into well-defined technical and feature overviews. Organize and structure content for ease of reference. Create and maintain catalog of features and services to support Work with developers and technical product owners to gather information and details for specific features and capabilities. Required QualificationsBachelors degree in related field or proven work experience3+ years' experience as a Technical Writer.Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues.Must have relevant experience working through the definition, design, and release cycle of delivering product software to market.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with process flow tools such as Visio3+ years' experience in the financial services industryExperience with Web platform development effortsExperience with platform Integration developmentExperience with large program / cross functional development effortsLong term consulting opportunity
