Description

Ownership of the UCaaS project plans including creation and updates of project status trackers and calendars, providing updates and reporting, tracking issues, and communicating with stakeholders.

Initiate and schedule meetings as needed, e.g., project kickoffs, issue resolution, etc.

Ensure successful outcomes by managing the process from Kick-off through install and hypercare period.

Work closely with the IT network team to ensure network readiness for UCaaS installs.

Maintain clear and open communication with branches and contacts.

Support post-install issues where the need for IT project involvement has been identified.

Coordinate analog disconnects with Velocity and, when needed, the ISP Circuit PM.

Analyze Telecom accounts for in-scope services and add to the overall migration plan as needed.

Support various project initiatives such as Greenfields, Closures and Fusion/M& A needs, providing UCaaS technical engineers with build requirements.

Inform management of issues as needed and provide weekly status of work in progress.

Work Ad Hoc efforts as requested by management or other organizations.

Continuously look for process improvements.

Create tools and documentation as needed to perform duties.

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Required education – B.A. or higher in IT associated fields of study or relevant experience.

Certifications – Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.

Required experience – Minimum 3 years’ experience or equivalent in IT, 1 years being directly Telecom focused.

Excellent computer skills necessary in Visio, PowerPoint Presentation, O365 and Teams

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented, well-organized self-starter

Excellent understanding of current and legacy Telecom systems.

Experience working with 3rd party vendors.

Experience with 8x8 or similar VoIP providers is a big plus.
