Test Engineer II

Data Intelligence, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to fulfill the position of System Software Test Engineer for the Mission Assurance (MA) Department in support of the development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ.

• Analyze system and software requirements to develop system level test cases and test procedures.
• Manually execute test procedures, capture test results, analyze test results, and document issues.
• Lead procedure development within a feature collaboration team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• US Citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to work onsite and in equipment laboratories; support testing which may occur outside regular business hours; work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail, collaboration, spoken, written, and presentation skills.
• 24 years’ experience analyzing software and hardware requirements for test or implementation in
• software; analyzing software functionality written in Python, Java, C, C, or other highlevel programming languages; and writing test plans, procedures, and test cases for manual test.
• 24 years’ experience executing different types of manual software tests on agile features; conducting user level system and software troubleshooting; gathering debug information; and performing root cause analysis of issues.
• 24 years’ experience leading procedure development in collaboration with multiple feature engineers.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments; requirement management systems such as DOORS; software change management systems such as ClearQuest; agile tracking software such as Jira; Microsoft Office
• Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook); performing work in accordance with policy; and agile methodology such as SAFe.

• realtime mission critical systems experience for example Aegis Weapon System
• DDS, NDDS, OpenDDS, or other publish/subscribe architectures.
• CI/CD and DevSecOps methodologies and tools.
• Other agile development methodologies.
• RedHat, RedHawk, Solaris, PowerMaxOS, HPRT, HPUX, VxWorks, LynxOS, or other UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Jenkins, ClearCase, Git, and Artifactory.
• Perf, oprofile, or other software profilers.
• ANUYK43 computer operation or CMS2 software development.
• Debugging core files using debuggers such as gdb, in particular with C/C executable programs.
• Certifications in cyber security, software development, test, engineering, or agile.
