Transport Operations Supervisor

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity exists for aTransport Operations Supervisor working with Coca Cola bulk distribution. The position isbased in Northmead where you will manage andexceed the clients expectation with a strong understanding and focus on deliveries of their product. The shift pattern is Sunday through Thursday11:00pm- 7:30am

• Effectively co-ordinate all outbound transport services.
• Daily checks to ensurearrival and departing times are met per agreed time schedule.
• Establish and maintain a strong relationshipwith the client and exceed their expectations
• Manage all staff members ensuring all procedures, deadlines and KPIs are being met
• Ensure safety is a priority and maintain a safe work environment for all staff and site visitors

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar position, with responsibility for leading a strong safety culture
• Advance problem solving and escalation capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with a tier 1 logistics organisation
• A strong understanding of transportation and dispatch software
• A thourough understanding of Transportation HSE practices and subcontractor compliance reporting
