Please note that this is a 6 months contract position. While this position is considered to be part-time, it may take on a bell-shaped curve and have increased hours at certain points.Company is searching for a talented Web / Digital Designer to create interactive online content and maintain a smooth user interface for our new North American (US & Canada) website. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing content that matches the company's brand, aesthetic, and marketing strategy.The ideal candidate should be able to efficiently combine creativity, functionality, and technology to produce eye-catching and informative content. In this role, organizational, technical, and analytical skills are key, and all candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of design software and best practice, understand user and client needs, and be excellent communicators.Major Duties & Responsibilities• Liaising with back-end developers to ensure web and app logic is properly integrated.• Ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e., desktop, mobile, tablet.• Working with marketing to incorporate brand elements, product positioning, online content – identifying room for improvement, and ensure strategies are up to date & meet usability and website standards.• Using a variety of tools to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity to understand behavior and expectations of online visitors and report findings with data visualizations that are easy to understand.• Communicate insights and provide solutions that have demonstrable results marketing teams to implement your solutions.Other Responsibilities• Ensure consistency in designs and content across all company platforms.• Transform wireframes into intuitive user interfaces.• Work with the IT / GIS department to oversee the smooth implementation of new content.• Provide advice and guidance on the aesthetics for campaigns, projects, and promotional events.• Design engaging and responsive landing pages.• Integrate client CMS programs and data feeds into websites.• Employ industry and design best practice through website build process.Qualifications:Minimum years of related experience – 5 to 8.HTML, Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign including, Adobe Experience Manager.API web integration.Experience in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Adobe CMS.Knowledge of SFDC & Pardot a plus.Looking for a more qualified contractor in the short term that knows best practices and will help the company build an infrastructure that will allow a more junior person to be hired when headcount is available (will need to be able to work independently and not rely on being told what to do.)Applicants must provide their phone number.
